Meet new WFFT residents - Saskia and Sally. Their hooves were so long that standing and walking must have been extremely uncomfortable.
Pangolin released back to the wild
Back to the wild for this pangolin – the most trafficked mammal in the world! This pangolin was brought to us by some locals. He had a mild fever, but as pangolins do not generally do well in captivity and often die quickly from stress or malnutrition, we wanted to get him back home asap. We provided him with the medical care he needed and then released him back to the wild.
Pangolins are widely poached for their scales and meat, so every wild pangolin is incredibly important to the survival of the species. Your kindness enables us to help all kinds of wildlife that comes through our doors.
Please, if you can, help us help more by giving a one-off or monthly gift for wildlife today.
